The "Leurre" bait boxes appeared sometime after 1904. Both versions were offered in red.

Note that various manufacturers produced similar bait cans; here is an example of the "basket" version (from Langs Auction).

And here is a cool assortment of tins showing the variety available (photos from fellow collector Jim Lynch). I can't say with certainty who the manufacturer was on these (as Cream City typically didn't mark their bait tins).
