This little guy is a simple two-quart metal pail. It was advertised as a "minnow and frog bucket". Typically found in blue paint, occasionally maroon. (see bottom photo below). It looks like this bucket was offered for a pretty long time, showing up in each of the catalogs I've seen including 1913, but was gone by 1915.
